Creative Services

A brand identity for a creative practice built around the idea that creativity is rarely linear. Ideas begin as fragments, connect through experimentation, and eventually resolve into something clear.

ROLE

Senior Designer
Working with the creative team, I helped develop the identity and visual system across concept exploration, typography, composition, communications, and brand applications.

01  /  CHALLENGE

Give an intangible process a visual form.
Creative Services needed an identity that could represent creativity without prescribing what creativity should look like. The challenge was to build something recognizable and structured while leaving room for experimentation, different disciplines, and unexpected outcomes.

02  /  EXPLORATION

Ideas begin as fragments.
The process starts with disconnected thoughts, shapes, references, and possibilities. Early explorations embraced that uncertainty, using simple geometric fragments to search for relationships rather than rushing toward a finished form.

03  /  CHOSEN CREATIVE IDEA

Creativity takes shape.
The identity turns the creative process itself into a visual language. Individual fragments begin separately, move through experimentation and connection, and eventually resolve into compositions where everything clicks into place.

PRINCIPLE 01

Simple shapes create infinite possibilities.
A small vocabulary of circles, curves, and geometric fragments forms the foundation of the identity. Each element can shift in scale, orientation, and relationship, allowing the same building blocks to continually generate new forms without losing their shared visual character.

PRINCIPLE 02

The system is designed to recombine.
Like ideas moving through a creative process, individual forms can separate, connect, overlap, and resolve into new compositions. Consistency comes from the relationships between the pieces rather than the repetition of a single mark or layout.

PRINCIPLE 03

Imagery brings the forms to life.
The geometry becomes a container for photography, texture, color, and ideas. Imagery can inhabit the forms and change their character, allowing the system to respond to different stories while preserving the structure underneath.

04 / SYSTEM IN ACTION

One language, many expressions.
Across identity, imagery, color, and composition, the modular system creates a recognizable language without prescribing a single outcome. Each expression can respond to its content while remaining connected through the same underlying geometry.
